We live and work In Edinburgh (Unlike some)
Myself and a few other Edinburgh/lothian based moving companies and Professional men with vans of varying sizes and of a like mind have decided to create a free website for potential Home and business customers;- I don’t run it I may ad that would be crazy for someone like me to have control of something like that.
Anyway people who can join have to have a few criteria firstly insured from full insurance or minimal git for a removal Business.
Secondly the Removals Company has to live/trade from the address they have given - it’s open to abuse, some sadly stooping to this low level of Local business spamming – saying they trade from but actually don’t, spamming other local nearby businesses and clearly wasting genuine customers time with this desperate activity.
Minimum of 3 years established easily found /traceable well if you trade from an address you will be there... living and breathing in that house/flat... common sense really and all advertising sites/publication do normally have t&cs saying no false or misleading information. Not a mates address or similar feeble excuse.
Customer references , not self written ones – madness some people write there own reviews about there own business – yeah I know how can you tell , for example ... if you see a time stamp showing less than an hour between reviews on a cold damp morning you’re at it…most people spot this sad activity.
