Removals in Edinburgh
We live and work In Edinburgh (Unlike some)

Always an issue picking the right removals company in Edinburgh to do the job so many to choose so many trades not picking up work and looking to do odd jobs in a van and some out of town companies spamming fake city addresses trying to pick up work by copying and spamming others, very dishonourable I get it, but all the same not good tactics.

First things first - make sure you know the address they trade from no point in calling someone and not knowing who you are speaking to or where they trade from In Edinburgh, some shady characters use false addresses and have any excuse for using it - always lame and never true.

I’ve recently been a victim of a site spammer copying idea rehashing articles false address wouldn’t mind but he’s right opposite me and looks in my eyes (after telling me to mind my own business which I am -minding it) to be copying every single thing I do.

I’ve had content copy and pasted in the past but this bloke takes the biscuit in being unoriginal and to be frank its all made up - lots of time on ones hands I think.

What I’m saying to you is never just call someone up and think they are who they say they are always ask questions about them get the address get a reference if need be ask around - just because its on the internet to doesn’t mean its all true – in fact quite the opposite

Chosing the right Removals company

Removals in Edinburgh

Choosing the right removals company in Edinburgh cant be a right old chore as its your personal possessions, really youre inviting strangers into your home and you have no idea who they are or even if they say there are who they say they are ( if that makes sense) might do if something’s damaged or goes missing .

Recently I’ve experienced address spamming by someone who doesn’t live in Edinburgh city but suggests he does and I ll tell you a load are at it just going by reading others comments , people will try almost anything to get a job nowadays, mostly due to the recession and an apparent recent explosion of Edinburgh based removals companies man with a van style has proved this (jack the lad master of none) the sort of guys you call up and you hear hammering or power tools in the background , guys who don’t do removals full time for a living but fancy trying there (ahhemm) skilled hand at it in-between working on sites or digging holes in the gardens.

Heres some tips to weed out those removals rouges –
Ask for the trading address – any hesitation, ifs… buts… maybe…its ex`s house… don’t use them
Get persons name you are speaking - if it’s a nick name like gogs tam etc forget it
If they answer the phone and don’t say company name on answering – it because they are getting handyman/ you name it jobs
Got a web address looks legit doesn’t it , well erm no…. – look for there address/landline number on it no sign forget it –
Mobile number with no name you’ll get what you pay for, a right old shock. Most likely

If you get a quote and they call you back pressuring to use them it because they are desperate for the job , you would be advised to stay well clear of anyone like that.
False reviews on sites another classic – just read them and see how the writing style looks the same – people writing ‘’warmest regards’’ or going over the top like ‘’my neighbour asked about you and is moving out soon’’ , utter rubbish and really easy to spot to be honest.

Customers do reviews its because they want to and its in there own words if they look the same don’t waste you time by using these companies.

Picking the right man with a van
Get suggestions from friends see if they have used someone
Look in yellow pages /phone book/internet do a cross reference check if hes real you will find him easily and if you can check website address or some form of document on a site like this hes for real !!
